Meek Mill Pleads Guilty To 2007 Gun Charge; Prosecutors Drop All Other Charges

Meek Mill is officially a free man after the rapper pleaded guilty in a case from back in 2007, regarding possession of a firearm without a license. Prosecutors have dropped all other charges that led to a long legal battle spanning over a decade. Judge Leon Tucker told the rapper: “I know this has been a long road for you and hopefully this will be the end of it.”

Prosecutors will be not re-trying Meek for the other charges, making Meek officially a free man. “I wanted to thank everybody whoever stood for me,” Mill said to his fans after the court hearing. “I’m very thankful from the bottom of my heart.”
