Philadelphia rapper Tierra Whack has officially revealed details for her new mixtape titled (Whack’s Museum), which is scheduled to debut on Juneteenth (June 19.). The forthcoming launch marks her second career mixtape and serves as her first substantial musical offering following her Grammy-nominated 2024 debut studio album, World Wide Whack.
Whack described the upcoming release as a “rap mixtape,” revealed the news through social media, where she also invited fans to “please text your apologies here: (323) 747-7544.” In the same post, she wrote, “I’m gonna read every single one and smile. Not because I won. Because I never stopped believing in myself when you stopped believing in me.” The announcement included a screenshot of a text exchange with André 3000, who praised an unreleased song and offered words of encouragement.
Although (Whack’s Museum) is being billed as only the second mixtape of Whack’s career, Whack World has often been viewed as her debut album because of its ambitious format. Released as a visual project, it featured a series of one-minute songs accompanied by interconnected videos and earned a Grammy nomination for the “Mumbo Jumbo” visual.
