Juneteenth Events 2022
Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Traditionally Juneteenth is known as a cultural event, and now a Federal Holiday that celebrates the emancipation of slaves in America in 1864. Juneteenth KC encourages people of all backgrounds- from Kansas City, across the country, and around the world- to learn about African American history and grow with JuneteenthKC.

The Peace Teen Summit
Youth Ambassadors will be hosting The PEACE Summit, a youth-led event designed to bring awareness and education over topics that affect Kansas City teens, such as violence prevention, anti-violence techniques, peaceful mediation, healthy relationships and more!
Through the Summit, teens will have the opportunity to connect with peers and discuss topics and events that are important to them, engage with dynamic speakers to motivate, inspire, and influence violence, participate in age-appropriate team activities that promote awareness and the necessary skills for the safer community!

Actor and comedian, Mike Epps, is set to bring the laughs to Kansas City once again with the IN REAL LIFE COMEDY TOUR.
