Dave East’s new single “No Hoodie (Nothin’ To Lose)” features Jay Electronica and 070 Phi, and will be benefiting the non-profit Hoodies for the Homeless organization.
East’s track emphasizes the homeless epidemic that is happening within the nation. Almost 554,000 people are homeless in the United States and in New York City alone, there are approximately 78,000 without a place to live, the highest since the Great Depression.
